Flash And Be Recognised
As I pass other 75 & ZT cars on my travels I Have often wondered if they are members of our club. Now a few years ago I had a car (can't remember which one) when we saw the same make of car going in opposite directions we used to flash our headlights at each other.
Now that might be an idea so we could recognise each other by a quick flash of the headlights to greet each other. |

I had a lot of waving when I had an MGB Roadster, some when we had our early model MX5, none with the newer MX5 (!) and shedloads with the Ford Probes. I think it depends to a degree on how rare the cars are?

People who owned reliants used to flash each other, in my opinion using your flash of headlights could be easily mis read by someone and cause a nasty accident.

TR drivers used to do it, and the occasional Spitfire owner. Today I have seen at least 8 75s on the road and none of them have made eye contact, mind you as the sun was out I had my shades on,
