I think it'd be fun to go to a meetup at some point so I can see what a good 75 / ZT actually looks like however I suspect I'd stick out like a sore thumb being 18 years old

What are you saying?

Okay many of us are older but we are or try to be young at heart.

Fair play to you for owning one of these cars.

I bet you wear your flat cap backwards and your slippers are made by Nike...
Obviously only joking it's good to see some youngsters coming into 75/ZT ownership, you never know they (the cars not the younger owners) may well become classics in the next 10 years

Cool

Possibly next month we’ll get a meet sorted out. Either our Regional Secretary or I will sort something out. Still keeping the social distance.

Be good to get The Flying Banana out to a meet or maybe the Bear, if I can afford the fuel.

I've owned my 75 for about 8 months now and whilst it's had its moments e.g when I got stuck on the traffic lights next to Newton Abbot ASDA because the master cylinder was leaking and the clutch was off-duty, I've enjoyed owning it.

Bearing in mind that the car is older than I am, many people my age do not have the bias against Rover that many others do because they are too young. We're getting to the point where Rover will become a forgotten company and that's a bit sad. That said, I've had a surprising number of people tell me they think it's a cool car and of course I think they're right

I'm sure that if you enjoy your 75 trefonix, then you'll also enjoy a meet. It's good to have new, younger members joining the club, and there are plenty of 'old hands' at the local meets to offer advice should you get any problems

Look forward to seeing you & your car soon
