Default advise to refit dash

Hi all i am having problems refitting my dash i removed the dash in order to take out the instrument cluster to send to Rick sta for repair got my instrument cluster back fitted it all working great now having problem refitting dash i just cant get it to go back into place i have done it before with my previous rover when i changed it from lt oak to walnut but i may have just been lucky first time now i am struggling is there a particular way to fit the dash ie a certain end to start or a particular angle i am struggling some advise please would be very much appreciated thanks in advance

Too late to tell you now, but you do not need to remove dash to simply remove the IPK. 3 screws and it's out.

I always start at the driver's door end and finish the other end, make sure you don't rip the covering over the centre console as it's very tight there, especially with a walnut dash.
I use a credit card or similar to protect it (it also helps to make the dash slide in easier). Don't forget to connect the clock and the thumb wheel to the cable if you disconnected it.

thanks the credit card method was first class went into place no problem
