Default Drivers door card

Not sure if this is right place. Drivers internal door latch will not open door. Is there anything special to do to take of the door card. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Sorry if it is a silly question but just wondering if the door is superlocked? Have you tried unlocking with the fob or tried the handle with the engine running?

There is quite a good pdf buried somewhere on the forum on removing and refitting the door cards but I can't find it at the moment...

To remove the door card you must first remove two screws. One is behind a blanking piece of plastic behind the interior door handle. Pop it out and you'll see the screw. The other screw should be fairly obvious and is below the door mirror area. You would also need to prise up the window switch pack and unplug it.

the door card is held in place by several standard(or standardish) plastic clips around its edge. In the middle behind the armrest/handle there are two black plastic clips which side over two metal protrusions on the door itself. If you remove the card, these plastic clips may come away from the card and stay stuck to the door, in which case you can use a pair of pliers to compress the metal and remove the clips and reattach to the card.

Just going off memory so may have missed something but that's the jist of it

My advice Paul is to nip and see Andy Willi, if you haven’t attempted a door card off and refit and the mechanisms inside then it’s a minefield!
