Default SAT in a hat..or how to protect your Sat nav

The theory was straight-forward...put a hat on the Sat-nav to keep the water off it should the worst occur:



In practice, sadly, the cubby hole cover fouls the top of the box.

So, a simpler solution to keep the water away from the sat-nav was decided upon:



Just using the lid!

4.5 litre Tesco's 'Value' tupperware-type container used.

Careful now Justin that's 'umour that is.....

I discovered that the 'tupperware' wasn't terribly flexible...quite brittle in fact! So will need to think again about how this can be done...in the meantime, the 'hat' and the sponge will offer some protection should the worst happen.

Just put in a plastic bag or wrap it in cling film
