Default Rover 75 CDTi Connoisseur needs a new home

Hi,

I'm selling my Dads car to someone who is going to give her a little TLC. She has been off the road for 10 months and is currently SWORN. She has an MOT until 9th June 2019.

The battery was flat when I tried to start her and put it on charge last night and she started first time today. The battery light is on, so not sure if its the battery or the alternator. The odometer though is showing 999999 when the actual mileage is only 104,000+. Also the bonnet opened ok, but will not completely close and I think this is due to her sitting around and the cable or latch needs freeing up probably with some WD40. The brake warning light is on but she had new discs and pads fitted at 95,000k and they look fine. A mechanic has said it might be the brake sensor cable.

She has a few minor scratches that I've been told many of which would polish out and to get her perfect it would be in the region of £500+ bodywork wise.

She has been well looked after mechanically and always has had a full service every 10k using fully synthetic oil, oil filter, cabin filter, air filter, fuel filter.

She has had an inline thermostat fitted for the winter so the temp gauge is always at 09:00 and a new PCV filter and an EGR bypass. I took her to Phil-T4 4 years ago and she had the remap done to I think 165bhp and the cylinder compressions checked and they were all fine. The plenum chamber drain was also opened further.

Full leather, walnut dash, climate control, electric memory seats.

Would like to get £500 if possible, open to a discussion

I've uploaded a video on my google drive if you would like to see and hear her running. I've also included the mileage on the last MOT and she has not been driven since then.

Please PM me and I will respond asap.

Thanks
