Default 75 new owner abs light question

hi all ive just been buying a 2005 75 diesel with a snapped abs sensor. When i replace the sensor will the abs light go straight out or will it need a code reader to clear it plz .....

As soon as you plug it in the light should go out

Remember to avoid the cheap £10 eBay sensors. I've got a good stock if sensors if you need one.
