Default ZT front seat frames, NOT for sale!

Pair of front ZT non-electric bare seat frames.

Free to collect from Hertfordshire, just taking up space.

Cheers,

Mik

Nice, empty toolbox!

No Jules, you can't have the sunlounger, it's a special performance version!

Hi Mik,
I'm not interested in having the seats, but is there any chance that you could post a pic showing a close-up of the side of the seat back where the side bolsters would be (the bit that contains the side airbag). There has been a discussion about a possible extra bit welded on (compared to the Rover 75 seats) that gives extra support to the bolsters and I'd like to see what it looks like, if it is present.

Regards,
Kearton

Default Extra side bolster support

Yep,

The ZT seats do have an extra shaped rod welded to the side that slots into the seat foam to provide extra side support.

(Following on from various previous discussions with Monk & Jules.)

Mik's second pic shows the extra side bolster support bracket fitted on ZT seats. If anyone wanted to to fit R75 electric seats to a ZT, they'd need to make these brackets up & fit them, or maybe it would be possible to fit the backs of these seats onto an R75 base (since they are free). Just a thought.

If anyone manages to do this, there are several people wanting to know how you get on.

Regards,
Kearton

I can confirm from EPC Part numbers that the Rover 75 and MG ZT front seats are different.
Also the ZT R/H seat is no longer available just the L/H (8 way)
No Problem with Rover 75 Front Seats.
Above is re Electric seats.

I have just swapped my manual drivers seat with an electric 8-way one. I had to completeley rebuild the set using my old one. But I cannot get the plastic trim on the RHS. If anyone has one to sell I would appreciate it. By the way, the 8-way seat has allowed me to get a much more comfortable driving position.
