Default Rover V8 bumper

Having sold all the bits that went with the bumper last year, I still have the bare bumper sitting in my garage. It is going to be skipped unless someone out there wants it.

The asking price is £0.00 but I won't be posting it. It has to be a pickup though I am prepared to travel 30/40 miles if you will go the rest of the way.

If I don't at least get a note of interest from anyone, it is being skipped sometime tomorrow.

Look for my last thread in this forum to see a picture of the bumper.

I really don't want to skip it but...

Hi Alan, I'd be on for this, but would need to have courier to collect, as I'm about 400 miles from you!
Let me know.
Regards, Tony

Hi Tony, unfortunately that would require packaging and I can't/won't do it. A chap from Ireland once tried to get pricing for courier and apart from requiring bombproof packaging, the sum was astronomical since they go by cubic volume and not weight. It weighs nothing, but with packaging is enormous!

The only way out for someone who lives too great a distance is if they know someone up here who could take it in until it could be picked up/delivered.

OK - no problem. Hope that it finds a good home, not the skip!!

I recently had a rear bumper shipped to me by a breaker. It was bubble wrapped and sent by Parcelforce. Arrived next morning at 07.30. Cost about £20.00. Postie did say it was bigger than they usually handle, I guess the light weight made it OK.

HI Alan,

I cant remember if i asked you this before but does your bumper have the mountings on the back for the fog lights ?

If it dose i'll take this off you and get my brother in Sterling to pick it up from you.

Looks like the bumper will not be skipped after all. Someone will pick it up next week. If that doesn't happen, I'll post it's availability one more time.

If you need it collected I am quite prepared to make that journey some time after this friday.
