Default Suggested Prescott Hill Climb Meet

I have muted the idea of a meet at Prescott before. I posted an email to them asking for details. The following (below) arrived just a few minutes ago so I thought I would bring the idea up again for discussion. If interested a cavalcade of our cars can be run through the hill climb too. Note there will be a huge crowd there besides us to watch this.

Would enough people be interested in a Meet at this venue? And When? (of course according to their calender?) I would support either the French Weekend or the Classic American Weekend personally as I have already been to these and I know it is a great day out for the family. There are stalls and markets and heaps of other stuff going on, very entertaining.

I have experienced this place and I was very impressed with the way they go about things. I know that we would be very pleased with a family oriented day out at the Hill Climb although an entry cost is involved there will be a discount for a large group to attend. See details below...

Eddie

We would be delighted to see you at one of our event in 2011. Our hill climb events are:_

British & Midland championships 30th April & 1st May 2011
La Vie en Bleu [our French Weekend] 28th & 29th May 2011
Midland Championship 25th & 26th June 2011
British & Midland Championships 3rd & 4th September 2011
Autumn Classic[our American weekend] 1st & 2nd October 2011

We would be happy to welcome you at any of these events. If you are looking for a more family based day out then our French weekend in May and our Classic in October may suit you best as there are a lot more attractions taking place outside those on the track.

However our British Championships meetings and the June event are also lots of fun.

Having a dedicated area for your group is no problem and we would offer you a group rate price which will vary depending on the event that you choose. Costs are by adult with children under 14 being free of charge. 2011 entry costs are £12 for Saturday practice day and £15 for Sunday competition events with exception of May French weekend and October Classic events which are £18. I will confirm advance group rate for you if you can confirm the event.

I would be happy to include as part of the group rate , the dedicated parking area and depending on the event a cavalcade run up the hill course over the lunch period if that would be of any interest to your members. There would be no additional cost for this. Very happy for you to visit the museum [please note this is normally only open on Sundays] and various food options are available on the day.

I hope this is helpful. Anything else please do get in touch.
In the meantime we look forward to hearing from you,
Kind regards
ian

Worth it just for this.

Evening all,

Saw this on me phone but only just got in. Definitely a meet for 2011!

Mr Woolleysox Sir - Would you be happy to plan and lead the convoy?!
