It's just a spur off of the pipe that comes out of the bottom of the expansion tank. We all said back in March to just bypass it with copper or rubber pipe. Just get a length of copper pipe from B+q, a couple of 90 degree compression bends and some jubilee clips. Failing that, local parts factor and buye a length of rubber pipe with a 180 degree bend in it. It will take 10-15 minutes to do on your back under the car or from above if you have long arms.

Thanks I have done what tim mgr has told me and can confirm it was the oil cooler what was blocked if you still have it could you let me know thanks

No the coolant was backing up to the top of the tank it didn't leak whilst the cap was fitted
