I converted a BMW analogue module to run digital (DVB-T) by using a tuner bought off Alixpress in Singapore and a custom circuit board made by a bloke in Australia, which enables the DVB-T tuner to accept the bord monitor inputs from the controls in the dash, it's basically a plug and play set-up with one wire to solder, but you need the correct tuner module Steve

Steve, will the PTV work with the original Rover video module or must you use a BMW unit?

When I converted my hiline set-up, I fitted a converted 16:9 video module, fitted with the PVT set-up, a Mk IV trip computer / DVD drive, BM24 radio module (fitted with the twin radio tuner) and a 16:9 wide screen bord monitor, they were all ex-BMW parts and worked 'straight out of the box' Steve

Hi Colin,
I believe you can convert the 4:3 tuner to a digital output (I have done it twice on the 16:9 tuner and am very impressed with the picture quality on the move at 70mph in the back although it was very difficult to steer with my feet!!), as Steve said check the pi-bus site out. Neil |

I converted my standard 4:3 highline setup to digital with a 'freeview' box as I'd describe it, plus an adapter cable and it works fine.
