Default poor starting diesel auto

Recent hesitant starting has got worse noticed car seemed to take a second or two longer too fire up now will eventually start after a fair bit of coaxing.
53 plate auto diesel . Had a new under-bonnet pump fitted felt old one was suspect and problem still persists car also has a full tank of fuel -so any advice greatly welcome. Electrical gremlins-?

If the engine runs fine once started then it may be a failing cam sensor.

Could always contact one of the traders on here and get a used original one, probably the cheapest and easiest option.

Do a leak back test first, sounds more like one or more leaky injectors
