obd reader
must first apologise if i am on the wrong page, but can anyone give a definitive answer to my question or point me in the direction to get it. the question is this. is there a coder reader/delete reader gadget that will read my Jan 2001 reg probably manufactured 2000 75 cdti saloon, i have been the proud owner of 4 Rover 75 tourers and now have bought this gorgeous 75 saloon in Aaron white its lived in France most of its life and is in pristine condition just a couple of niggles with dash lights though nothing of a serious nature all mechanical issues have been addressed what few there were. just looking for a reasonably priced reader if there is such a thing. Diesels aren't obd compliant until 2004 onwards, so no readers available unfortunately

Yes there are a few, but none of the cheap and cheerful OBDII generic code readers will work.
TOAF is free to use, but do read up on it first to ensure you know what you are doing. I have had a Sykes Pickavant ACR4 with latest Rover pod for a few years now and it not only reads fault codes, but shows engine sensor readings, and can be used for ABS and some SRS interrogation. Used ones often come up on ebay for reasonable money. |
