The job is looking good, thank you, they don't want to employ somebody on their books so, looking like I'll become self employed as a handyman if the work keeps coming. The housekeeper has asked if I could clean the windows, inside and out, when the grass has been cut! Thing is, there's 67 windows in the place
Once you've finished the last one it will be time to start the first one again

Afternoon from a damp Scotland, rain is peeing down. I'm glad I decided to resurrect my model making hobby, brilliant for passing the time, couple of hours just disappeared this afternoon. I was shocked to discover if I wanted to buy the same kit now (Monogram Peterbilt 359) it would cost about fifty quid! Haven't worked out what I'm going to do with it once its finished, its blooody huge, more or less finished the frame/running gear etc, its over 19" long!

Evening boys, I was right about the rain I was absolutely soaked all day, it doesn't help when the rain runs off the waterproof coat into the non waterproof crotch

Evening all - that's the end of another action packed day in my life

Ever since we returned from our jollies, I haven't had a minute to myself - hence I've posted hardly anything on here. We've been moving furniture etc. around so that the plumber can have access to all the radiators (as they are all at least 37 years old, I thought we should change them), loft, gas supply, etc. on Monday. Hopefully, we'll be back up and running with the new hot water and heating system by about Wednesday (ish). I'm expecting a phone call pretty shortly to say the dealers have got the caravan ready for collection, so that'll be a trip up into Weardale at a leisurelyy pace.
We're helping daughter-in-law with a coffee morning tomorrow - all in aid of the grandbairns' school PTFA. SWMBO has locked herself in the kitchen and is baking fairy cakes as if her life depended on it - I'm worn out

The question of the day is:
Have you ever seen Coolcat and Captain Birdseye in the same room?
