You need to go to Specsavers Rev - that's a train, not a member of the aristocracy

Apart from that - good morning everyone - we're just starting to dry out after nigh on 13 hours of rain yesterday. The best I can say about this morning is the clouds are a paler shade of grey - but it seems to be a fair few degrees cooler too.
Off to collect my new lawnmower from Argos today - although it won't be getting used in the paddy fields until some hot Summer sunshine dries them out - a lot

So I am afraid it looks very much like the curtain is coming down all I hope is that I get well enough to drive Y4 again

That's not the type of news we like to hear Derek - but now that I've met you, I know that you are a fighter and won't give in.
To use an old fashioned phrase - I'm sure "there's a lot of life left in the old dog yet"
Chin up and keep on keeping us LCOZers in order

Good morning Derek, from my experience when news like that is received, the person either throws the towel in or fights on until the end. A shock for you, as that news is something else. The ones that fight on, live longer and their quality of life can even improve.

Sometimes these doctors get it wrong with the bad news and they can be cold with it. Take Serena. The docs in London gave her 11 months to live. We refused this and had her treated elsewhere. The cancer is still there, but 3 years on she is still with us, there is no cure. You need to pace yourself Derek to build up your strength. You still have a sharp mind and a strong woman. Your mates are all behind you. I wouldn't rule out driving again if that's what you want
