The house we are staying in, - its gardens, have been overrun by monkeys and baboons, they come in the mornings and evenings looking for food and water.

The owner of the house has a cat called Princess who is not allowed outside when the baboons are around as they will eat her. She is a pretty cat and lives up to her name.

What is everyone up to?

Morning Phil, Jessica, Princess and all

Good news on making the journey without incident and not being lighter in pocket!

Enjoy your time with the monkeys and keep well hydrated with that heat.

Not a lot going on here today, a bit of gardening before the rain is due but that is about it. Work tomorrow weather permitting.Ros and I are planning to spend the Easter weekend on Lady Emma although it looks likely to be raining for Easter.

Wear a mask! I'm sure that I inhaled contaminated water droplets when I did mine last week and have been coughing and throwing up since. I had the same experience when I did it last year, so it can't be a coincidence ............ or can it? We get lots of seagulls, pigeons etc., and they are a filthy lot!
Sunny here this morning. Already been out to do the checks on the Mrs Polo as she is off on a jolly day out. It never uses anything apart from fuel! She doesn't work it hard.

Happy days all.

I was splattered in the stuff & just been in a red-hot bath.

Proper cream crackered now & too tired to cook owt, so looks like a Chinese takeaway meal for tea tonight.

Going to get a replacement for the outside PIR light. Most places only have LED available, not my first choice as you can't replace the bulb, need to replace the whole thing, 15-20 quid for a whole new light as opposed to a couple of quid for a bulb. Only place I can find that sells the non LED halogen lights is Argos, weirdly they don't sell the bulbs (not included?) though

Steve,

Ros still stocks them in Clacton Electronics (my old work place)
I can gladly post you one if you let me know the wattage and length.
There are three different sizes.

Let me know

Morning all, It's going to be a showery day today. There's some smoked bacon with my name on it for brekkie.
I'm off out shortly to take Mam for a blood test at the local clinic.

We have to look after our mums! That bacon has me salivating, so I must be feeling better! The promised sunshine hasn't arrived yet and rain forecast for later!
