A chrome grill with black metal mesh instead of chrome slats

Please note this is no use for early cars that have the through grill bonnet release catch

FYI Chris, mine has mesh & has the claw opening, but you can still open the bonnet by pushing the bonnet hook back with your fingers, so this grill can be used on early cars

Or alternatively you can swop the through grille claw to the under bonnet type.

I’ve done this on both my 75’s plus I’ve placed a small piece of yellow tape on the slam panel to show where the catch is when opening the bonnet.

I've swapped both catches as well and no need for a tape: the catch is just behind my left badge...
