Default Use of Forum and responding to posts.

Apologies, this is quite possibly the most basic question in the entire forum, but is there a guide or how-to concerning how to post and respond to messages, plus effective use of the other features of the forum?
I'm able to post, clearly, but if I click the Reply button to someone's post it opens up a dialogue with blank title. Should the title not be that of the post I'm replying to?
I can use the quick reply button, but don't know if this is the "normal" way to reply or should I be using the reply button?
I've seen the how-to on posting pictures and have managed to post two into a quick reply but it would only let me do one at a time. I had to go back and edit the post to include the second. Is there an easier way?
So, as I said, really basic questions but if someone could point me towards some general instructions I'd be really grateful.
Thanks,
Michael.

You don't need to put anything in the title when replying to a post, just put your dialogue in the pop up box

Also, if you want to reply to a particular post, click the "quote" icon and this will include the post you're replying to.
If you want to reply to multiple posts , click on the "+'ve icon on each post you want to respond to, and these will be included in your replies. HTH's
As regards pictures, using an image hosting site such as Imgur, will allow you to add many pictures to one post.

That's really helpful, many thanks.
I'll look into the image hosting application too.

When I reply to posts I click the quote on that persons post.

This opens up a reply screen.

If you then drop down the page you'll arrive at the part that says manage attachments.

Click on this and a new screen opens which you can use to access any pictures on your computer. Click on the picture you want and then on open.

This sends your picture back to the previous screen giving you the option to download it to the forum

You can close this window and return to your post. Scroll right down the page again and click on enter.

You can also use the system to enter several pictures at the same time.

It looks a lot of things to do but in fact once you have mastered it, it really only takes a few seconds to do.

( Just as quick in fact as going to a hosting site. )

Hello Phil,

When you've made a total of ten posts (I think that's the right number but someone will correct me if it isn't) the 'Thanks' button will appear for your use.

If you have a smart phone download Tapatalk. That’s what I use, it’s very simple and easy to use.

I’ve not used the website form but it doesn’t work on my phone for some reason hence why i use the app form on Tapatalk.

Hello Phil,
It also helps to edit down the quoted text to show the specific bit your refering to. The important thing is to retain the marker tags (in square brackets} that appear automatically when you press the quote button. You can also separate the quoted text into separate sections and answer each part in turn. Just isolate each section using your own typed in {quote}- - {/quote}" tags on each end. Note that the '{' and '}' should be [ and ]. This can save members having to re-read a long post (especially if it has lots of images) when only bits of it are relevant to your response.
