Default Inner steering ball joint labour cost

There are some jobs I don’t feel happy doing and this is one of them!
I have mates rates at a trusted local mot garage, so I’m intending to ask him to do the inner ball joints as I’m certain they’re advisory or probably failure.
I’ve ordered them plus gaiters and what the hell TREs at the same time, any one have an idea of labour time/cost for the job?

An hour a side if you haven't done them before.

easy job did both of my last year, securing the boot on the rack again was the bit i thought was most tedious but not that bad.

Exactly the same problem on my wife's Citroen C4.--Those darn rubber gaiters.---

Its well worth covering the rubber boots while working on the car, they are easily damaged and a pain to change if you have to.
