Default Broken Bulb light but no broken bulbs

I have a dashboard warning light and fast-flashing nearside indicators. The front bumper direction indicator lamp is not lighting which I assume causes the fast flashing of the others due to insufficient load.

The bulb is fine, it's quite new, but I replaced it with another new one from the pack I bought recently anyway. I have cleaned all the contacts using a cut down nail sandboard and then with contact cleaner but the problem persists. I have checked all the other bulbs and only the front bumper indicator is failing to light.

Any ideas about where/what to check next?

Thanks in advance.

Forget this thread for now, its sorted. It looks like it was caused by the battery having low charge with the car having been up on axle stands for a few weeks. We'll see.

I have a similar problem. The warning light on the deck is on, even though all the bulbs are OK. The battery is fully charged. At first my fog light burst, so I replaced it, but the yellow warning light on the deck is still on.

Check your rear lights. There's a safety feature that if one of the rear lights goes out the brake light will illuminate to compensate.

Sometimes the system identifies a connection fault, so it could be worth reconnecting all. Don't forget the glove box and rear storage area lights.

Thank you all, I checked everything and finally I found out that there was a cracked small 12V 5W in the headlight.

Take the bulbs out of their holder and just rub the connections inside the bulb holders with fine emery paper. A white residue forms on the copper and this stops a connection being made. Had the same problem myself.

I've tried all of the suggestions, cleaned and checked every connection, changed bulbs, stripped and cleaned the bulb holder, changed the bulb holder for a different unit. I've carefully removed each wire in turn from the loom connector and thoroughly cleaned each terminal but... still no nearside reversing light.

I've given up for now.
