I really really want a streetwise. But they’re so rare now and I fear I won’t be able to get one.

I’ve only ever seen one in the flesh (apart from at pride of Longbridge and other shows).

I have had a couple and quite like them. Their biggest problem today (along with the ZR’s & 25’s) is rust, as it seems to chew through everything at quite a rate really!

I think the reason why so few of the V petrol engines is simply down to maintainance or lack of.

They're at the age that they're bought as bangers and just workhorses and the VERY expensive belt replacement is usually more than the car is worth so are driven till the belts break or something more than a couple of hundred pounds needs repair/replacement and are then scrapped.

There’s a few on cars and classic too. I’m going to be getting another car sometime this year to daily, keeping my 75 for best and won’t have space or money for a third car. That one you sent looks a nice example too, I’m going to have to wait a couple of years and hope to find a good one.

I think that the family information should be reasonably accurate
https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/family/rover_75
or https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/family/mg_zt.

However, I fear that the model breakdown is not.
This is because of various descriptions used by the dealers registering the vehicles.

On the V5C, my car is registered as a "Rover Connoisseur SE" which gives numbers of 502 on the road and 411 SORN.
Other dealers might have registered it "Rover 75", "Rover Connoisseur SE V6"
or other descriptions such as CONSEUR or CON-SSEUR, for example.
These put them in separate model groups.

As it is more difficult to have discrepancies on engine cc this probably gives a good idea. https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/family/rover_75#!engine
Although I do feel sorry for those guys that have engines up to 499cc and hats off to the person that has one with a 10 litre plus engine.
