Evenin all, I get one step forward, then get two steps back.
The other day there was a letter from dvla,I opened it expecting to see my licence…….. no, just ANOTHER letter asking for my dr and name of the name of consultant, both of who were named when I applied for a licence. So that’s gonna take longer again, then I got an appointment for the eye department at the main hospital in Newcastle. Expecting to be with the cornea team, well yes but not to be seen until well into August, the wife has read in internet there can be a waiting list until I get a part transplant in the cornea, just to receive cells to help my eye see a lot more once it’s surgery attached to me. I was hoping to start work in June, but it doesn’t look like I will. It’s just one step forward and two taken backwards with the result I’ve been given.
