Default Question re: Fitting the Hans Gauge into the Cup Holder

Thanks to member Kully I now have a nice Hans Gauge to fit to my 1.8T. I am considering fitting it into the driver cup holder fascia but I have a question.

If I remove the complete cup holder with fascia is there a 'tray' or something that goes in it's place? I have a spare walnut fascia for this slot but I'm not sure what it clips to, if anything.

And if I need something can anyone help?

Yes, the original cover with out the cup holder had a tray, which accomodated the gauge nicely. Take the cover off your drivers side (as long as you don´t have the cup holder there) and you will see....

Thanks for the speedy reply (4000 posts! Congratulations). I do have a fitted cup holder so no tray, looks like I need one.
I'll post up in the wanted section.

That's fine if you don't have a DD.
