A few little mods done this weekend first up some mats, bought from china for £6.58:-
Then some sill plates bought from MG AMC Parts for £24.99:- Also got a phone call from the dealer so she is going in tomorrow to get the parking sensors replaced in the hope that improves things.

OK for those interested, I have had a few "issues" with my 3. Most were little niggles but when it became apparent that whoever put the vinyl stripes on at the factory had used a knife and also cut through about 1 inch strip of paint on the lip of the roof at the windscreen I was less than amused.
This became apparent when it started bubbling up...... I contacted both dealer and MG and had a right rant and also my local CAB for advice regarding rejection etc. However once I had calmed down somewhat I wasn't quite ready to get rid, especially going by the promises of repair from MG directly, so I decided to give them a chance. I am yet to get my car back as all issues brought up are being sorted so that the car is "spot on". As a way of compensation, as well as an extended warranty, MG have offered to replace my n/s/f wheel which I stupidly kerbed....... They have also offered complimentary VIP tickets for BTCC at Knockhill which I am already booked to attend with a campervan. Overall, disappointed with issues but customer service wise, both my dealer and MG have surpassed themselves. Not many dealers/manufacturers would go to such lengths and I have no doubt if it was anyone else I would be fighting tooth and nail to have a rejection accepted. Cars can have problems and I accept that, its how they are dealt with that makes the difference, so thank you MG. ps I still have to wait to inspect the car when it is returned but I am hopeful it will all be good. Also cant wait to get rid of this Seat Mii courtesy car, its junk! (same age as my 3 too with 5000 miles!)

Car is now over a year old, over 10,000 miles and first service under its belt. Still performing well and I still enjoy driving it. No more issues minor or otherwise. She seems in fine shape for some touring next year as I try to attend some more MG car Club meets and also a few more rounds of the BTCC (if holidays and days off allow).
