I would combine a regional one with a day out to a car museum, also if enough people were interested we could get in touch with the museum and ask for a group discount

Good idea Paul, I've voted for a car museum, but to be truthful would be open to any sort of museum or attraction. It just needs somebody to take up the reins and suggest something to see what interest there is.

I'd agree Jim - the right attraction could make members from other regions make the trip up/down/across

I agree a meet is much better if you can arrange a venue for the family and you don't just look at the same cars every time. We had meet in Jan and only 6 cars turned up but it was snowing The meet was at the national motorbike museum great place to visit lots to see and very easy to find.Same junction as the NEC. However it is a bit of a jaunt for some of you guys. We worth a visit though if you are ever in the area. If you intend to go the classic motor show at the NEC make a weekend of it and see the motorbike museum the same weekend, Just a thought
