JPAT are very good, I've bought parts from them for other transmissions. Sussex Auto Parts are good too:

Hi,

I see the part numbers I found in the reverse piston replacement procedure don`t mach the part numbers in the JPAT`s part list. An "explode" drawing of the gearbox would be helpfull

Has anybody got a link for the repair thread that is on here somewhere??

I can't find the damn thing!!

Chrislloydie and I were reading it before he went and "won" a sechondhand box thats now fitted and working well (touching wood!!)

That means I have a duff box on the bench and I fancy having a little "ferret" round inside!! - 1/ to confirm the suspected fault! - 2/ To repair if economicly viable (there may even be a how to in it!!)

Cheers!

Andy

Here's the instructions on how to change the cracked piston...http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...7&postcount=33.
I did mine in February the prices varied at AUTOMATICCHOICE it was £141.57 delivered, at JPAT'S £117.55 delivered and at SUSSEXAUTO'S it was £74.03 delivered, ordered mine from Sussexauto's and received them the next day....Took me about 2 days all in all, got my oil from Fleet Factors Ltd (Texamatic 7045E) cost £23.

Hope this helps..............

Well done Brian, that price from Fleet Factors gets the price back to the original price for N402 at Xpart. Do you have a link or tel. no. for them ?
Don't suppose that covered delivery & VAT, did it ? Is that for 5 liters ?
Hope that's not old stock and as soon as we all climb in the price goes up as often seems to happen
Dave

Did you try Googling it?

http://www.fleetfactors.co.uk/lubric...tic-7045e-p387

It's for 5 x 1 litre, excluding VAT & delivery. For those of us who don't live near a branch of Fleet Factors, and are not VAT registered as littleun appears to be, the total price is £40.

The next biggest sized container is 20 litres.

Simon.
