I took my front door cards off, added a bit of sound insulation to them, adjusted the door catches, took my old door mirrors off, dried out the foam insert, hammerite-d the triangle where the mirrors sit on each door and refitted with Chrome Bullet mirrors

Took my tourer to work, had a choice of that or an 85 bhp transit van that drinks fuel, got home and sorted out my exhaust by making it a straight pipe with no silencers and tomorrow will be removing the cat. I did give it a good clean on Saturday though

Got off the bus from work, waved at the 75, locked inside the garage, as I walked by, waiting for new rear springs to be fitted.

Sigh.............

Last weekend travelled from Essex to midlands and back. (1.8t)
280 miles, kept to steady 70 on motorways (except for 50 mph road works bits), brim to brim check = 36.9 mpg

I feel your pain I've done the same but spent more than 2 hours trying before taking off the bumper

As it's my week off work, it's a week of Rover action
Today I replaced the rear badge and installed illuminated sun visors and rear auto dimming mirror

Now waiting for my fan resistor and rear springs

That was one of the first things I did when I got the car was change the 'C' Pillar Trims that incorporated the Rover Badges....
