Fitted my new Raptor style headlights today and they look the muts danglies...not going to upload any photos just yet as my bumper needs a good clean and touch up lol.

I'm sat in the house now having a few bottles of Desperados whilst watching the footy but I expect a flat battery in the morning as I keep using my remote out the window to unlock and lock the car just to watch the halo and strip flash amber lol.

DONE: HAD A CRAZY IDEA THAT I HAD TO GET RID OF MY MG ZTT DUE TO NOT HAVING A DRIVE AND HAVING TO PARK ON A BUSY STREET WITH A VIEW TO GETTING ANOTHER ONE AT A LATER DATE WHEN I HAVE A DRIVE.

ENDED UP REALISING IT REALLY ISN'T PRACTICAL NOT HAVING A CAR TO GET AROUND AND I NOW OWN A VW EOS 3.2 V6 INDIVIDUAL (1 OF 20 REMAINING IN THE UK WITH THAT ENGINE AND TRIM COMBO) EVEN THOUGH I STILL LIVE ON A BUSY ROAD WITHOUT A DRIVE

Bought some very similar ones from Ebay... They do improve the look of the car straight away...

Thumbs up

I do prefer the fuller sized number plates, but I fear my OCD wouldn't like the non centralised lettering due to the flags/badges etc

Make sure the transponder chip is securely fastened into the rear of the new key

The sort of replacement fobs you get from the bay, are not fitted with the securing lugs for the transponder chip

Note the securing lugs in this picture

Spot of glue, will save lots of heartache

Hi Brian, yes I did notice that, so I simply left it in the old backing, the colours don't quite match on the fobs, but id rather that than lose the chip

Today I treated her to a set of roof bars. Also had a cambelt change and full service - something I've been putting off for way too long. Does anyone know how to reset the service indicator by the way?
