Default white box on bulk head behind highline radio

Hi all can anyone tell me what the white box on the bulk head behind the radio is and can it be moved to allow me to fit a radio sat nav which does not have the same shape as the ones that fit over the top of the box i am referring to thanks in advance

If it is a ZT that originally had a Kenwood unit, and has
Blue/Purple, Black and Light Green/White cables, it was for the steering wheel control interface unit.
