So I put some dye in the coolant. Bizarrely I've driven her 40 miles with a light foot and no leak, put my foot down a little on a 2 mile trip yesterday to pick the kids up and this morning there's a puddle of fluorescent coolant on the road. This is the only visible coolant - there seems to be nothing above it or anywhere else on the engine. I've attached an image of where the leak is as it's difficult to tell from my own pictures. Cheers

It's dripping off that point onto the road quite considerably

When you wipe it dry with kitchen paper, from where does it reappear?

looks to me that it appears to be dripping down from above, where there would be hoses, rather than seeping out from a crack or similar. cant you put a temporay paper roof over ( bluetack would hold it ) to see if its dripping from above ? as simon suggested a good clean up first to absorb the coolant and watch as it pools again, either from that point or from above. you have evidence there but you have to clarify its source. it cannot just appear without leaving evidence somewhere. ..

I agree but it's difficult - I'm not above it there I'm working under the car with my phone held up into the gap. I recorded some videos but by that time the flow had slowed dramatically and I'm none the wiser. I can't see what I'm filming either!

The thing is that part where it's collecting is kind of sheltered from any hoses by the shape of the engine - nothing could drip down vertically. So it would have to weep down the face of the engine to that spot - I did think that might have been the case but on looking at the videos perhaps not

I suppose the only thing I can do is top it up, run it hard again and perform the same test when the dripping is more frequent. I'll also try to wedge some paper towel above it as suggested by xsport to ascertain if it's dripping down onto there

billy, did you check out the hoses above and around the car ? check underneath all of them .? get some white tissue wrapped around your hand, and pat and wipe all hoses under and along their lengths. pay particular attention to any jubilee clips or other spring type clips for leaks and nip them up. The clips under the expansion tank are a common one to drip, being lifted up during coolant change. unbolt it at the top and lift it and check. the hoses on the stat at the side of the vee can leek if the old spring type clips are re used. im not convinced that this is a crack or similar but of course , i may be wrong. is your driveway on an incline ? this could give you a totally different area of source to where it is appearing. the coolant could be travelling quite a way from its source along hoses. im afraid you will have too spend an hour or so and do some investigating. ..
