Cool 2022 – A 2 minute Members Survey. South East Area.

2022 – Survey for Geographic Meeting Locations, & Event Types

The South East Region of this club comprises Kent and Sussex (both East & West)
However, members from neighbouring counties will always be welcome, on either a regular,
or occasional basis.

If you wish to be involved, and help “grow” a social element in this area, then please respond to this 2 minute survey; with the following information:-
1) Your nearest home town (some members are listed only by County)
2) How far would you travel? (single journey) for:-
a) A breakfast meet.
b) A day out such as a Car Museum, Air Display, Dockyard, Steam / Car Rally, Stately Home.
3) In addition to 2 b) above, are there any other types of venue that you would suggest?
4) Are Saturdays, Sundays, or BOTH better for you?
5) Remembering that all pubs sell soft drinks, would Morning, Lunchtime, Evening or ALL be better for you.
6) Would you attend events on a regular, or occasional basis?

In order for me to easily tabulate your responses, please reply, using this post, as per the following example.
1. Canterbury
2a 30 miles
2b 90 miles
3. None, or Road Rally (excluding Motorways) etc.
4. BOTH
5. ALL (or Lunchtime & Evening)
6. Regular
Please feel free to add any other comment(s)

Should you have no interest in the above, would you be kind enough to let me know, via this post or a PM, as it will help to complete the picture.
Thank you for reading this, and hopefully for responding.

Regards

Mike

1: 80 miles
2: 100 miles
3 : any
4: either, but would prefer Saturdays
5: either
6 : regular
Also, i live in St Leonards on sea, so mileage has to be set from there, for instance, an hours run for me could be anywhere this side of the M25, or as close as Eastbourne depending on roads and traffic conditions, the A259, is one of the worse roads in Sussex.

Please note that I made a mistake on the original post, since edited out.

The corrected replies should be as follows:-

1. Canterbury
2a 30 miles
2b 90 miles
3. None, or Road Rally (excluding Motorways) etc.
4. BOTH
5. ALL (or Lunchtime & Evening)
6. Regular

Raven Black & Martin, no problem as I knew your locations.

Sorry about that.

Mike

Cool

Maybe in the New Year I’ll travel up and attend one of your breakfast/lunch meets. I would possibly either stay over locally so I could visit some friends in and around Kent. I have done the day trip to the Frimley breakfast meet but it’s roughly a 4 hour drive up so staying over would make sense.

To all members; new, existing, and maybe those that are re-vitalised.

A bump for this survey.
