Default EdenbridgeMotorShow

There's been no mention yet about this:-

www.edenbridgemotorshow.co.uk

In my experience one of the biggest and best shows. Not just cars, of which there many and varied, but lots of stands and food outlets.

Thanks Rob for mentioning this show.

A quick look at their website, and the ticket application page for exhibiting a car, suggests that there are no age restrictions.

I'm interested myself, and will provisionally say yes.

Do you want to run with this one, as far as a 75 / ZT club booking is concerned, or would you like me to do this (very happy to do so)

It does say 10 cars minimum for club entries, but probably it's academic whichever way.

Regards

Mike

I'm very happy for you you carry this forward and try for a club booking. Might need more than just our area to achieve though.

Rob,

No problem, will do.

Your right, most likely need to generate interest from other areas.

See you on Saturday 28th May, for Martin's drive out.

To all,

If this is of interest to you, please now go to "Regional Events Forum- South east"
and the post entitled

Sunday 11th September 2022 - Motor Show in South East

to register that interest. Thank you.

Regards

Mike

Visited this show twice years ago. The initial plan was to attend Crowborough carnival the day before, take a B&B and then take the country route home via Edenbridge, Ide Hill and then on to Sevenoaks towards the M25 for a cruise home. The show was discovered by pure accident as we wafted past it with suprise at the size of the gathering and the classics on show. Turned round and went in as visitors. Superb show with beautiful exhibits. The first show we attended was start to finish brilliant, however the following year had several restrictions following the air crash at Shoreham airshow. This was a tragic incident and had quite an effect on any public event in terms of safety of crowds in all types of event. The second visit to the Edenbridge Motor Show my car was a single entry exhibit, and had a good level of attention.
The show was a great experience, no chavs or hooligans to witness. All levels of decent machinery from personal transport were featured alongside some military vehicles. Well worth a trip to this one from my experience.

Thank you very much for your recommendation, appreciated.

I will take the liberty to copy & paste it into the registration post that interested members are directed to, in post 4.

Regards

Mike
