Default TV Mute

Hello.

I have no volume control on the TV, only green Mute indication on the Television and also on the AV.

I have video signal on AV but no volume control only green Mute indication.

I do not know what changed as I had the volume control, green vertical lines going through width of the screen on the bottom.

I started inspection for installing reversing camera and dvbt module, made tests, have video, sound muted.

Radio volume control normal.

Any ideas?
Thanks!!!

Hello Andrej,

Are you asking about the hi-line factory-fitted system or an aftermarket unit?

You'll be better off posting your question in the sub-forums specifically for ICE equipment and double DIN units if you have one of those.

Thx for replying!

I dont know about aftermarket or original, I "inherited" it like it is.
It shows Rover symbol on the screen when I give key contact, no markings in the plastic surrounding the minitor, only buttons with "Menu" "AM" "FM" markings and so on.

I feel like there are special bureaucracy procedures like I am in the Process/Trial by Kafka, just to post a question for problem solving.
Unlike youtube where I just pop a question et voila bob's your uncle.

I mean I already posted this question "somewhere else" in the forum, and one member was chewing my rear off, I felt like I was breaking some law or something like the member was going to send me to ukrainian prison or something but did not give me any links to proceed.

Feel like I am getting nowhere.
But thanks anyways.

The only other post of yours I've seen had a reply to helpfully suggest that to get the best response you ask your question in the relevant section of the forum, which you have ignored.

If YouTube is so good what are you doing here?

OK Andrej, I would like to see if I can make some progress with your question.
The first step is to identify what you've got. Do you see the unit in your car illustrated here?

I think you will find that the TV signal used to be analog. It is now digital. Don’t know if that helps you?
