Rear screen extior trim flaking
Has anyone else had any issues with the rear screen trim flaking away? It looks like Mg covered the R75 chrome trim with a black coating, over the years this has dried out and is slowly flaking away... anyone else experienced this?? Just wondering what's best to soak it in to help remove it ?

I just picked mine off. Looks ok with the chrome trim around the rear window. Even when I had the car re-sprayed I asked paint people to leave it with the chrome showing.

Think we all have the same problem with the zt I trimmed mine with a new Stanley blade ( slowly and carefully) close to the rubber seal then picked the bits off looks good trying to get a scrap trim to see if it will repaint ??

I second Gary K- slow and careful with a sharpknife, Ive got all mine off and it looks ok, you have to be careful you dont mark the chrome, keep the blade almost flat to the surface. But Im still wondering, it would be a tricky job masking it off(forme)! But there is a Peelable black paint at Halfords one could use but then you really need to give textured finish? could be done. I meant to get some of this peelable stuff but Covid interfered so that as far as Ive got. Best of luck. Chris S. P.S. if I do mine I will report result, even if its Cr-p. Chris S.
