A massive thanks guys.
I'll be having a "play with it" this Saturday, providing it's not chucking it down with rain!!

Help!!! Help!!!! Help!!!!
Hi all,
SO today Ive come to have a look at my number plate lights not working. It's all gone very, very wrong! Looking at the how too that Artic posted for me I cracked on. Boot trim out, cable out the way, the 4 nuts out the way. No movement. Nothing. OK. There must be more nuts I've missed? No. I cant see any. OK. Carefully I place plastic trim removal spoons under the MG spoiler, and get a bit of movement. I place polishing cloths between them and the paintwork to try not to scratch. I work my way from one end stopping mid way. Then repeat from the other end. OK. Just the centre. Double sided tape everywhere! BANG!!!! It gives way with a massive bang. I thought the boot had come off! The short of it is, the MG plinth was double sided taped to the car, the number plate bulb holder was also taped to the car AND the plinth, so I've got a number plate bulb holder in several pieces and a snapped circuit board! No amount of glue or anything will put this right!
