AFAIK these were never an option at time of production.

Shame, I really notice them now I've got the auto-dip rearview mirror. I was thinking the same thing : could do with auto-dim door mirrors.

I would consider having the mirror glasses tinted with a gentle filter for the night time driving. Still looking for somebody/firm to do it !

If I get dazzled by the door mirrors I just press the little buttons to change the angle

A following vehicle that's actually dazzling you via the door mirrors is either on full beam or has a badly adjusted dipped beam. When it happens to me, I use the mirror adjuster button to swing the mirror out so it reflects back at the offender. No idea if it works, but it makes me feel better.

TC.

Default Eureka!

Couldn't we just take 2 internal auto dimming mirrors and screw them to the original wing mirror covers. Bit of hacking about with electrics.

Job done.
