I’ll ask Rog if he fancies pint or two if you’re coming through the village.
I can’t drive until March until the doctors see if my fainting has stopped.

Good morning all,

I spent most of yesterday at the hospital with Jessica and I met with the consultant and physio looking after her. Jessica is now on Oxycodone every 2 hours and Gabapentin for pain, a big improvement allowing her to be rehabilitated and this afternoon physio got her out of bed and walking to the toilet. The consultant said Jessica is not legally allowed to drive until 8 weeks have elapsed from the day of her op 2 days ago, but would not be drawn on how long she will remain in hospital. Things are looking better, thank you all for your support and messages, much appreciated.

Good morning all. Lots to do here again as SWMBO is on childcare and pet sitting duties again. I can get all the jobs done that don't need a "nagging assistant" looking over my shoulder, offering "advice"! She was impressed with my gardening, kitchen blind cleaning and evening meal yesterday. My garlic, mushroom and peppercorn sauce was a hit! Don't ask for the recipe. There isn't one! From memory, finely slice and chop a slice (or whatever it is when you pull one bit off of the lump!)of garlic and a few peppercorns, then lightly fry in olive oil, in a small pan. Add finely chopped mushroom and fry with the garlic until starting to soften, turn down heat and add single cream to make a sauce. Adjust quantities to suit your taste. Bish, bash bosh! Add to meat whilst hot, or stick in a pot to set as a spreadable paste. If, like me, you don't like garlic, skip it!
Don't tell anyone but I baked some sunflower oil, banana and apple muffins on Tuesday too! I don't know what is happening here. I have clean fingernails too!

Morning all, It's wet & grey out there from an overnight deluge. The slugs & snails are out in force too, Just collected eight of the blighters in the garden & tossed them in the field at the back.

Morning Phil Glad to hear Jessica is doing better. I was on Gabapentin for nerve pain for quite a while with constant sciatica & tingling in the feet but my doc said I had to come off it when I started with DVT meds (apixaban) & those hormone injections. He said it clashes with both of those meds, Trouble is the tingling & sharp pains in both feet have come back with Avengeance.

Nice one, My missus is on the warpath for me to finish that flatpack metal three wheelie bin surround doodah,. Still haven't finished it in more than a year I've asked my mate to come over to give me a hand as the nagging is too much
Bloomin' pigeon English instructions & no diagram to go off, they never put a detailed picture of it in the box.
