Been using it as a daily driver whilst the coupe gets fixed. Now the coupe is fixed the 75 can have a rest while I try and get to the bottom of it’s tailgate issue.....

Nooo get a reset tool from ebay, if you stretch the pins in the connector it can make connecting to T4 a right royal pain!

The rear window tint on my car started to bubble last year. It really looks a mess, so its time to replace it. The other week I took it to a place in Sheffield called Tint My Ride, to get their take on it. They suggested removing the rear window altogether to do the job properly. Removal/refit of window would cost 70 quid alone. And then there's the price of new parts etc etc. I left my phone number and they said they would call me back with a price for the job lot.
They never did call back. Last night I took the tint off myself. Took me about 3 hours, and then half an hour to give it a good clean. Now the demister doesn't work because as I was peeling the tint off, I could see the thin white lines coming off on the back of the tint. |

I use an OBD reader (basic one that will reset faults but not service info) and haven't caused any connection problems yet. I've used the same clip each time, I guess it would make sense to hammer the ends flat ready for next time.

Well the Nano chaps helped me replace some missing undertray clips, seal a leak and fixed my VIS motor yesterday, and today I fitted a new cone air filter. The little jobs are getting there! Now just waiting for the new plate I bought the old gal going through with the DVLA and then belts and major service next month!

Started on the head gasket job today, head off and greeted with a snapped exhaust stud! No wonder I couldn’t get a bolt in.
Why do some folk not do things properly?!?

Replaced a rear indicator bulb in Kim and noticed mold and wetness in the boot
The carpet and board are both soaking wet and covered in white mildew type mold. Got them drying in the garden at the moment. I need to stay in tomorrow for delivery of new brake discs, but as soon as they've come it's up to b&q for a sheet of plywood, then follow Arctics how-to for making a new board. I'll also get some decent carpet cleaner too.
