VED on existing diesels is unchanged. NEW diesels that do not meet the Real Driving Emissions Step 2 standards on emissions () will be subject to a one off tax added to the first year's road tax. The amount of the one off tax depends on CO2 emmissions.

Might be an idea for a Mod to change the title of the other thread on the subject then from 'Budget - Tax for diesels to go up!' to Tax on our diesels to stay the same.
