Default Help Rover 75 headlight conversion rhd to left for continent/permanent?

Help Rover 75 headlight conversion rhd to left for continent/permanent?
information for my father who is currently in Spain. He has taken his right hand drive Rover 75 2.0l diesel out there forever. The car is mint and he has renovated everything underneath, powder coated sub frames new clutch etc it is like a brand new car. The car passed its MOT here in England, but failed in Spain because he needs to refit left hand drive headlamps permanently. Do you know of anywhere I can get these? Ebay is silly money? Does anyone know of anyone breaking or salvaging parts from a car? The part no for the lhd units is XBC002560. I have emailed someone in Portugal and also someone in Belgium but had no reply. Many Thanks

My daughter took an audi to spain. It failed when she took it for the spanish mot because of the UK lights, as yours did. We tried to get LHD headlights from all over, but all the replies were for RHD. The suppliers were trying to be helpful, as it was UK specification (by the car model number).
Eventually, the local garage took it for another MOT, same station, and it passed ! (without any modification, still UK lights). All it needed was a little backhander.

Hi, My rover 75 is now on Spanish plates.

I bought one of the front lights off smc trading and the other from rimmer bro's. They worked out about £200 for the pair in the end.

Don't pay ebay prices.... they are a rip off £500+ if I remember. Also there are lots of scrap yards in spain and they are very helpful, go along and look for some secondhand ones. They also have a database on what's around!!

I bought my wifes car over to France and obtained a pair of LHD headlamps from a site called Lebcoin (Ithink that is how you spell it)They were used but got the pair for 120 euros deliveredDont Know if it would help to look on this site?

Just to add to this last time I was posted to Germany I had a Rover 820 but could not get lights for it for under €1000 so had to get rid of the car.
