Front wing replacement
Dear All, I know the sainted Arctic did one of his brilliant how-to posts for replacing the wing without removing the front bumper, but the photos have been replaced by a graphic saying the photos are no longer available.
Can they be recovered in some way, or are they in another place I have missed? I will copy out the text, but I was hoping to see the photos for a monkey see, monkey do process Best, Frank B |

I'd contact Arctic. I know he was slowly working his way through his how to's replacing photos after the photo hosting service he used (tinypic) went down.

Thanks
Dear Steve,
thanks for the swift reply. I will pull out the telephone book size Rover manual and do the job from that. I prefer to use any proc by Arctic as he makes any job a 1000 times easier than Rover or the last resort - Haynes, a thousand and one things not to do to a car... On that subject and to give fellow Rover owners a brief smile, I was in WH Smith with my wife a couple of years ago and she pointed to a manual on the shelf by Haynes that purported to explain everything about sex. When I realised she was serious I was aghast. She surmised it was aimed at teenagers, but if that is correct and the manuals are down to the standard of the car manual, there will be very damaged kids all over the UK! See attached jpg from the Haynes online site. |

I am sure Arctic is working his way through as fast as he can, but as I have the big Rover publication I can use that and not bother him. I will have wear two sets of specs to see the text and illustrations though. And I bet it has me doing things I do not really have to do... Still slowly does it, I am not in a hurry. Best, Frank B
