If they are juddering it general means the are as you suspect worn or need a good clean. Try cleaning first use some kitchen roll and wipe along the length of the blade with some white vinegar costs something silly like 20p from a supermarket, you will be surprised the muck that comes off them. Obviously a good clean of the windscreen too.

Failing that I always buy Bosch from Euro Parts if you can a fraction of the cost Halfrauds will charge you.

Buy some flat blades, they are more expensive than the normal type but do a much better job..

My old ones were a pain for shudder and squeeks, but now my wipers work in silence, it's bliss! lol..

im a flat blade convert, just put my first pair on my 75,and they work in silence and clean the screen without smear etc.and the ones i bought were only 10quid the pair,i bought cheapies from ebay in case the sales patter was just hype but theyre superb.
i personally dont see why anyone would buy those old fashioned things anymore.

buy some cheapo flat blades to try, youll be amazed at the difference

Because they are a third of the price, work as well and were designed for the car, I think the flat ones dont suit the car at all
