How long to flatten battery
I know you cannot give an exact answer but giving me an idea will be of help.
I don't know what current draw if any there is when the ignition is off but if I increase the draw by 0.01 amp, how long will it take to flatten the battery? 100 hours to draw 1 amp? Reason for the question. My trailer hazard warning lights do not work with the ignition off and I assume neither do the tail lights. At night if broken down and engine off I'll have no rear lights on the trailer. I can over come this by using a permanent live but then may have the 0.01 current draw. The amp meter was fluctuating between 0 and 0.01 Wiring diagram for relay shows permanent live but the fuse in the handbook for towing electrics seems to be live only when engine running. I think I want to use permanent live macafee2 |

There are lots of LED flashing red lights on the market Some magnetic.
Have long life on dry batteries and not expensive to buy. No need to put any strain on your car battery whatsoever. The latest LEDS are very bright so stop worrying and go and buy three or four and give yourself total peace of mind.--- |

Only did this a few days ago so dont expect to have a flat battery today but I will be starting the car this afternoon/evening so will know then. If the car could be allowed to sit for 3 or 4 weeks and then starts after that time, then my fears would be unfounded or at least laid to rest. macafee2 |
