I've seen VW Golfs here with all the panels in different colours - from the factory when new. Go for it.

Oh wait, that's that special GREEN one, isn't it?

Yes afraid it is! It will be multicoloured for a while while I do all the other jobs, the respray will be the last thing to get done.

Great to see another rare one being kept on the road

Once resprayed, I think a set of sparkle Starspokes would finish it off perfectly...

(I know they're not strictly correct on a Mk1, but would look great against Lagoon).

Managed a couple of jobs today, got a wing and a sump from the scrapyard, as you can see the cause of the oil leak was that the sump had been scraped previously causing a crack.







Something I didn’t realise is that the later dumps had a polished finish internally, whereas the early ones had a shot blasted finish?!?
