Default KV6 ECD3 conversion

Hi everyone!

I have a 00MY 2.5 V6, which is currently configured as ECD2 car, but I want to convert to ECD3.

There is a "Service Bulletin Emissions" menu in the T4 which says:

"This vehicle can be converted to ECD3 specification. You must ensure that all necessary hardware changes have been made to the vehicle."

The question is: what hardware changes is necessary to the ECD3 conversion for a 00MY KV6?

I have the older NNN000655 ECU.

Thank you for any information!

The difference between the ECD2 and ECD3 cars is mainly the addition of the downstream Lambda sensor.
Up to VIN 1D208018 there are only two upstream Lambda sensors.

I haven't converted an ECD2 car to ECD3 but I would imagine that it would need a later type cat that will take the sensor, the wiring adding for the downstream sensor and a ZCS coding change that would enable a different software to be applied via T4 for the ECU
