Reading this thread decided to went to macdonalds yesterday to get some straws as indicated here, however they dont fit the lock button, they dont have the button size, and wouldn t be able to slide...
how do you cut them, i am not understanding...??? |

Dear Sergio
Cut them lengthways down the side, so they open out slightly to allow you to slide them over the door button - slide over the door button, then trim the length of the straw so they just 'disappear' into the door when locked. Pete |

I found that electric cable heat shrink works on the door button. I found a size that was a push fit and then gave it a couple of seconds with the heat gun and it worked a treat. The black stuff is a perfect match for the buttons on mine.

the straws do work...
mod done and recomended... if stops working i will take the door card to take them off and put the electrical cable you are talking about... |
