Mgzt v6 lpg missfire
The v6 dropped onto 5 cylinders today, I initially thought it was due to the floods on the road, but it didn't recover.
So I drove home, via the motor factors, bought 6 new iridium ngks. Fingers crossed its a plug, next in the suspect list would be a coil, and my spares are all the older type. The one question I have, will the 25 mile drive home have harmed the cats? |

Not on LPG but my V6 was misfiring on one and even two cylinders at times (diagnosed by Rover54), took several weeks before I was able to replace the ECU (kit) during which time I used the car. Five years later the car’s still running well on the same cats and with good emission readings.
