Default Water pump leaking

Hi I have a very good condition well serviced rover 75, 57 thou miles runs as good as new,hower has two faults 1 irritating,electric mirrors don't work,and 2 more urgent,water pump leaking.my question,is there a seal on water pump that may need replacing?or or would the pump need replacing

Water pump has a rubber gasket iirc, might need changing.

Which engine do you have?
To be honest, by the time you tear it all down you're as well to replace the lot.

We have an upcoming deal with the original supplier of waterpumps to MG Rover - they'll likely outlive a lot of cars they're fitted to.
That'd be ideal for making sure it doesn't happen again.
