I just checked his car's MOT and tax history and it's still in date until July 27th this year, the tax is due in October. It looks like he's just not been here for whatever reason but the car is still on the road.

One minor issue we do have of course is that we don't insist on members disclosing their home address (or indeed their location). It's not something we would wish to change, but it would make it easier if we knew of a member who was just round the corner.
No reply from Roy so far.

I hope he has found himself a young lady to enjoy life with. He was a young at heart gent. Perhaps he might appear at one of our Nano Meets this year, hopefully?

Hi Dave.

We can't be having too many of these young at heart folks at a Nano.......

It'll cramp your style .

I well remember the fun and games with Roy's washer bottle on his Copperleaf Tourer. The crew got it sorted in the end after they stripped it right out and finally adjusted the washer jets from clearing the whole length of the car .

Yes I remember that. He was a nice young man at heart. It was his exhaust tail pipes that sent my mate John on the lookout for a similar pair. I used to love having a chinwag with him. Quite a knowledgeable fellow. Wonder if he got rid of both the cars he had. Would have liked his ‘best’ one.

To be fair, some of us are like that even when we are feeling well and chirpy!

Giving people the option so that by providing contact details they are also indicating their preference is probably the way forward.
Not after today you wouldn't .

Just had my third jab at the local pharmacy today and then a test for Covid.----Twenty minutes later the result of the test came through.... I HAD COVID.---

I normally post something every week but if nothing appears you will know that that nasty little virus has applied my brakes in full force.

I tried hard over the last few months to limit my shopping and trips out to a minimum but I guess you can't hide for ever.

Those viruses have reached the point where they can travel much faster than this old codger can.---

Drink lots of water to keep your hydration levels up, it's shocking how much this virus can dehydrate.

I do not understand why the pharmacy did not test you first. Recommendation is to wait 28 days after having Covid before having the vacinnation

Jon. If you start feeling a bit dehydrated, try and get some Dirolyte from the chemist. It replaces the lost salts in your body. (The spelling might be wrong but that is how you say it. You can get it in different flavours also. .
